Precision engineering on Little Jumby

We are thrilled to have been involved with the Caribbean’s most talked about and dazzling new addition to its upscale tourism scene, which recently saw the launch of Little Jumby.

Nestled between mainland Antigua and the exclusive Jumby Bay Island, Little Jumby is the brainchild of brothers George and Matt Adams, who represent the team behind the hugely successful Hut at Colwell Bay in The Isle of Wight, UK. Little Jumby, with its unique design features, is set to redefine luxury and exclusivity in the Caribbean, making it a must-visit for discerning travellers.

At Lightstar, we frequently wear many hats, from helping clients navigate the enormous choice of fans and lighting, which we execute by offering a curated shortlist of suitable products specifically tailored to meet the challenges of the Caribbean environment. These recommendations frequently span architectural, landscape, and decorative lighting in addition to airflow project solutions. We also manage procurement, logistics, and ground support, assisting with product and technical support.

At Little Jumby, we wore all these hats, working closely with the owners, developers, design team, general contractors and lighting control teams to ensure that their solutions were not only project and climate-appropriate to negate any potential issues with corrosion, wind and sun damage, but also making sure we also provided them with long-term, durable and reliable solutions for a small Caribbean island so that they would need minimal support in the future, and can comfortably focus on their customers, with the assurance and confidence that not only will their bespoke lighting set the scene, but that they can count on it to work.
